Welcome
Come and have a seat.Whatever has brought you here, this is a good place to start.

01
about me
Hi, I’m Kelli. I hold an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with adults and young people and have particular experience with autistic and neurodivergent clients. I'm an integrative counsellor, meaning I work at your pace and in the way that best suits you.Individual Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
02
what to expect
The first session is mostly me asking a little about what’s brought you here, and you don’t need to have it worked out beforehand. Whatever you bring, I want to hear it. No issue is too small, and it's never too late to start. If something would make this easier for you, say so — most things can be adapted.

03
who i work with
Adults: I provide a calm, supportive space to work through anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or life transitions. Whether you are dealing with a specific hurdle or simply feel overwhelmed by everyday life, we work entirely at your pace.
Young People (12+): I offer a confidential, low-pressure space for young people navigating anxiety, school stress, self-esteem, or neurodiversity. What is said in the room stays between us within safe limits, offering an environment to explore feelings freely.
04
Practical
Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly.
Sessions are £60.
Sessions are available either face-to-face at The Old Post House or online via a secure video conferencing platform.
I have a small number of lower-cost spaces. Please enquire if needed.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. This call is an informal chance to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any practical questions you have, and see if we feel like a good fit - with no pressure to book.

Frequently asked questions
How many sessions will I need?
There’s no set number. Some people come for a few weeks, others for much longer. We’ll talk about it as we go, and you can stop whenever you want to.Is what I say confidential?
Yes, with two exceptions: if I believed you or someone else was at serious risk of harm, or if the law required it. Wherever possible, I’d talk to you first. I also discuss my work with a supervisor, as all therapists do, without using your name. What if it doesn’t feel right?
Then say so, or simply stop. Therapy depends on the fit between two people and not every pairing works; if I’m not the right person, I’ll help you find someone who is.How do I pay, and what if I need to cancel?
Payments can be made by cash or through Stripe, a secure payment processor. If you need to cancel, let me know at least 24 hours beforehand. Sessions cancelled later than that are charged in full. What if I need help urgently?
I’m not a crisis service, and I don’t monitor messages outside working hours. If you need someone sooner than I can be there, contact your GP or call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option. Samaritans are free on 116 123 at any hour, and you can text Shout on 85258. In an emergency, call 999.How do I get there, and is the room accessible?
The Old Post House is a short walk from Godalming train station, and several bus routes stop nearby on the High Street. The nearest pay-and-display parking is at Mint Street and Mill Lane car parks, about a 2-minute walk away. My room is on the second floor, and there is no lift. If accessibility is a concern, online sessions are always available, and I'm happy to talk through what might work for you.

I only collect information that is relevant and necessary for arranging and providing counselling, running my practice and meeting my professional responsibilities.

• Session notes: brief notes about the themes of our sessions and anything important to the work. They are not a transcript. I do not record sessions.
• Health and personal information: what you choose to share about your mental or physical health, history, relationships and circumstances. This is special-category data and is handled with extra care.
• Communications: emails, texts and other messages between us about appointments or counselling.
• Parents and carers: where I work with a young person, the contact and payment details of the parent or carer who arranges sessions.
It is your choice how much you share in counselling. I ask for GP details because there may be rare circumstances in which I need to contact your GP about a serious concern. If you'd rather not give certain information, we can talk about how that affects our arrangements.

• Safeguarding: if I believe a young person is at risk of serious harm, I may need to share information with the right people. Where it is safe, I will tell them first.
